Wieland Small Tube Products ’ most accurate unit of measure is pounds, so to be fair and equitable with our customers, we quote our tubing per pound. Each order is processed across calibrated weight scales for the highest accuracy possible. Although we can use an average weight per piece to determine a piece count, it is at best an approximate piece count. If desired, you can advise our customer service representative to provide an approximate price per piece in the COMMENTS section of the quote.
If you would like to calculate the price per piece using the quote information, follow this process:
- WT/FT from quote divided by 12 = WT/INCH
- WT/INCH multiply by the part length = WT/PIECE
- WT/PIECE multiplied by price / lb. = Price / piece
If you would like to calculate the price per foot using the quote information, follow this process:
- WT/FT from quote multiplied by price / lb. = Price / foot
